Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English descent is also her mother. Her mother comes from Spanish and English roots. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan that included six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, when the family moved to Victoria within London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatic and that she was unable to study English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being forced to change schools. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and participated in plays. When she was 16, she quit school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her as a professional model.
