Andrea Joy Cook
A.J. Cook is well known for her work as an actor from Canada. She is best known as a Canadian actress, best known for her role as a character in The Virgin Suicides (1998) and Final Destination 2(2003). In addition, she was Jennifer "JJ" Jareau on the show Criminal Minds. Cook's television credits includes Dead Like Me, Tru Calling, Higher Ground, Bluemoon, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, Elvis Meets Nixon, In His Father's Shoes, Laser Hawk and the TV film Island Heat. She has appeared in the movies Blood Suckers, Final Destination II, The House Next Door, Out Cold, Ripper, The Virgin Suicides, Kisses and The Tinker. Cook was raised in Whitby Ontario, Canada, through her parents Sandra and Mike Both of whom were school teachers. She grew up along with three siblings: Angela, Nathan and Paul. They were raised as Mormon or part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and only plays roles that aren't contrary to her faith and teachings that are taught by The Mormon Church. She took ballet, tap, and jazz classes in her early years. After competing in numerous dance competitions, she only took up acting when she was seventeen years old. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze inspired her to be an actor. Cook had met Nathan Andersen while taking a film course at Utah Valley University in the summer of 2001got married Andersen in 2001. The couple has one son named Mekhai Allan Andersen, born on September 13, 2008. The couple currently reside in Los Angeles
