Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than 20 years. Her most famed role is for her performance in House on Fox. As a child of strict Jewish upbringing the actress was able to move from Wayne into New York City when she was 18 to attend Tisch School of Arts. She became very involved with the nightlife scene in the city of New York, and did enough to be noticed by the media. At the same time she began to become conscious of AIDS' devastating effects. She then merged her fame and talent with the ability to write and compose to create a show called Positive Me. She landed her first job at MTV as the presenter of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After it was taken off air, she began appearing in films and television production at first in small roles but then gradually becoming an actor.
