Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and her were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is a country and bluegrass artist. She entered the music industry in the early years, winning local contests by when she was 10 years old and recording for the first time at the age of 14. After signing to Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. She joined the group with who she still performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
